Embedded Maps

The Website includes map embeds. We use an open-source solution based on Leaflet and OpenStreetMap tiles to display locations from a KMZ file hosted on the Website. This setup is designed to maximize privacy and minimize tracking: map tiles are loaded only when the map becomes visible on the screen, and no direct Google Maps or other third-party map services are used.
Because the map is loaded lazily, technical data such as your IP address may only be transmitted to the OpenStreetMap tile servers when you view the map. No cookies or other tracking mechanisms are associated with the embed.
